Electric Bike designed by Lee Iocacoca's Global EV Motors & built by Fairly Manufacturing.
The bike was marketed as www.eBikes.com by Global EV motors until the early part of 2003/4 when lawsuits or technical problems forced the EV Global electric bike division out of business. The website and support mechanism shut down
some time over the 2004 - 2006 time frame.
Ongoing customization & repairs to keep bike functional. On purchase the bike did not start and the battery was dead.
Service involved reverse engineering the EV subsystem, pack replacement, throttle repair and 2 major repairs to the Heinzman Hubmotor, and aquistion of a full second wheel set too alow motor less operation or off road opertation as a 3HP peak dual motor, dual sport bike.
History

This 36Vdc Electric Bike designed in the 1990's and brought to market in the early part of the decade of 2000.
The bike has been riden and owned around Victoria since it's aquistion in 2005 by Saanich Resident Andrew Termehr.
He rode the bike for about a year from central saanich to work at CFB Esquimalt dockyard while recovering from a back injury.
The bike was purchased in Mar 2007 by its second owner, Cam Rawlinson, Prinicipal Techologist at Terraqueous Electronics & Services Ltd.
After repairs it was riden from Victoria BC to Whistler and on other trips from Victoria BC to Whiterock BC. It has also toured central Vancouver Island as far north as Errington BC and back south ddown the Island Highway to Victoria
Troubles
========
The 36V Lead Acid single unit Batterypack when pulled from the plugin module was date coded 1992. The throttle also it's exceeded allowable level preventing electric assist startup.
